Licensed Surveyor Position Available
Sun Country Engineering + Surveying is seeking qualified individuals for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training position to support land development projects. Street, water, sewer, site plan design experience in Civil 3D series software required. Land use, survey, and project management knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities
- Professional Land Surveyor License in Oregon State or obtain within 6 months to 1 year.
- Must possess AutoCAD skills.
- 4 years of survey experience.
- Survey boundary analysis and computations of topography and utility surveys.
- Prepare and review CAD work, plats, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and final surveys.
- Perform quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans and record plats.
- Prepare surveying estimates.
- Knowledge of engineering design, land development, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of standard surveying methods and procedures.
- Leadership and strong communication skills.
- Experience with conventional, Trimble GPS and Robotics data collection equipment.
- Floodplain Elevation Certificates
Skills
- Proven working experience in land surveying
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD,Civil 3D.
- Project management and supervision skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensure as a professional surveyor in the state of Oregon preferred
